Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the installation of all types of window treatments at residential and commercial job sites; products include but are not limited to blinds, shutters, shades, draperies, window film and motorized window treatments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Builds product knowledge base with a deep, comprehensive, and ongoing training.
• Adheres to scheduled appointments and arrives at all appointments on time or notifies customer of delay prior to arriving late.
• Properly measures for new window treatments.
• Prepares and cleans work area with careful attention to courtesy toward the customer’s belongings and surroundings.
• Efficiently delivers and installs new window treatments in a proper, efficient, and timely manner.
• Troubleshoots product issues with the customer.
• Cleans Customer premises of any installation debris, dust, etc.
• Collects balance due at completion of installation or repair.
• Ensures all completed remeasure, repair and installation paperwork are accurately documented and turned in within 24 hours of completion.
• Keeps company vehicles neat, clean, and organized, promptly reporting any maintenance needs or mechanical problems.
• Attends and participates in regular meetings, bringing up any concerns and sharing information to grow and improve the business.
• Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers, communicates effectively and remains calm and courteous under pressure.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

What we are looking for:

Preferred

• Ability to learn and install new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in installing window treatments (installing blinds, shutters, shades, draperies, window film and motorized window treatments) is a plus, but not required.

Required

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Current and valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to complete and thoroughly pass a background check (no felonies).
• Clean driving record, no DUI/DWI's.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
• Proficient with MS Office, mobile devices, email, CRM, and the ability to learn and use new apps.
• · Availability to work full-time five days per week and be on time and ready to work each day.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
