We are seeking a dedicated and versatile custodian to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of our facility. This role combines custodial duties and handyman skills to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our premises. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, organized, and capable of performing a variety of tasks to maintain the facility.

Responsibilities:
Custodial Duties:
- Perform custodial tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies in various areas of the facility.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of restrooms, common areas, offices, and other designated spaces.
- Monitor and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and cleaning emergencies.
Handyman Responsibilities:
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Perform routine maintenance on lighting fixtures, and other facility equipment.
- Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and report the need for replacements or repairs.
- Collaborate with external contractors for major repairs and renovations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in custodial work, and handyman tasks.
- Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a similar role in a commercial or industrial facility.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair tasks for the facility
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and address any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any facility-related issues
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities management or a related field
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
