- Empty wastebaskets.
- Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenish lavatory supplies.
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floor.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust furniture, shelving and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Wash windowsills and door panels.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to two (2) years of related or experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, product labels, reports and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and fractions.
