Form of workBellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for an Anticipated Custodian - 1st Shift.
Duties:
Custodians provide and maintain a safe, secure, clean and healthy environment for the students, staff, and community. In addition, the custodian keeps the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.
Qualifications:
Academic: Minimum - High School Diploma.
Experience: One year of work related experience is required.
Other Skills: *Ability to operate and use various custodial, maintenance and ground
care equipment and products.
*Ability to read basic operating instructions and safety labels.
*Effective communication skills.
*Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide large numbers,
fractions, and decimals.
Work Day: 6:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. (1/2 hr. lunch)
Work Year: 12 months; 245 days per year; 15 paid holidays
Level:D - Minimum Pay Rate
This position is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

*Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint)
*Act 151 (PA Child Abuse)
