What you'll do:
- Performs manual tasks in mopping, scrubbing, dusting, polishing and similar custodial tasks.
- Strips, cleans, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Assists in care of grounds when required.
- Moves equipment, furniture and supplies when necessary.
- Operates various powered equipment (i.e. mechanical scrubbers, polishers, washers) in performance of assigned duties.
- Cleans classrooms, offices, restrooms and residential areas.
- Cleans contaminated areas using protective clothing, devices and agents as designated.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in custodial work.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience in custodial work preferred.
