CMTI has an immediate opening for a qualified Custodial/Janitorial Project Manager. The manager will oversee operations for the prestigious Tuskegee University campus facilities. This exciting position will manage and motivate the custodial staff to help provide a healthy, clean living and working environment for Tuskegee’s students, faculty, and guests. CMTI achieves business success by focusing on team building, cooperative leadership, competitive compensation, and employee recognition. We seek a Project Manager who will support positive and productive workforce habits and be a team leader for employee engagement. The position also includes significant performance bonuses and compensation benefits, many of which will be shared with the associated custodial field staff.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the entire janitorial program, including routine and periodic maintenance services.
- Manage multiple supervisors.
- Manage the quality assurance program.
- Be CMTI’s liaison between our corporate office and the client.
- Manage project budget.
- Ensure that individual employee schedules are maintained.
- Order supplies.
- Utilize a work order management system.
- Support site-related human resources needs and requirements.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Prepare and submit reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions as required by the customer and the corporate office.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project success.
Suitable Candidates Must
- Pass the background screening process.
- We have proven janitorial management experience.
Education and Experience
- An associate degree or relevant management experience.
- Must have managed more than twenty-five janitorial staff.
- Ability to work with the Microsoft suite of programs.
