Culinary Manager (Remote)

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus eligibility

Job Summary
Responsibilities:

• Develop and initiate action plans to improve customer compliance to purchasing programs and to support conversion initiatives
• Product knowledge resource for opportunity analysis review
• Support conversion activities with product support and expertise
• Assist customers in establishing and executing strategic purchasing initiatives to drive revenues
• Support culinary activities for on boarding new customers
• Coordinate Product Match and Mapping activities for Conversion files, Market Baskets and new business on boarding
• Coordinate samples for customers
• Coordinate product cutting and showings
• Coordinate training and product related activities
• Work with manufacturers, Foodbuy associates and account teams on any product or program related activities
• Coordinate nutritional/spec information for members
• Coordinate and lead consulting support for customers
• Develop menus, recipes and order guides aligning with customer deliverables

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have 3+ years of food service and/or purchasing experience
• Strong culinary background and operational experience
• Must have hospitality and food service experience
• Strong organizational skills needed to manage multiple projects.
• Strong professional presentation and interpersonal skills combined with good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Strong excel background is needed.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% annually
• Knowledge of Foodbuy systems to support product work
• BA, BS or Culinary Degree
• Nutrition background a plus
• Proficiency with Foodbuy internal systems and programs is a plus
• Maintain and contribute to the development of the Foodbuy image by representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
• Ability to work in groups as well as individually while holding multiple stakeholders accountable to outcomes.
