A Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) / Vulnerability Management Engineer is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities in an organization’s computer systems and networks. They are responsible for ensuring that an organization’s digital assets are secure from cyberattacks by identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
The primary responsibilities of a CTEM / Vulnerability Management Engineer include:
- Identifying vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks
- Assessing the severity of vulnerabilities
- Developing mitigation plans
- Implementing mitigation strategies
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and audits
- Providing technical guidance and support
- Staying current with the latest vulnerability trends and technologies

- Familiarity with Vulnerability Management tools and technologies
- Experience with network and system security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven experience building out Vulnerability Management as a Service or Continuous Threat Exposure Management programs
- Strong active listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Highly motivated self-starter that does not require day-to-day management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, and rapidly changing environment
- Experience presenting and engaging with audiences ranging from the End-User to C-Level Executives.

- Experience with the following tools: vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, SIEM tools, Firewall software, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
