Summary:

Summary:

Essential Duties:
- Ability to utilize online industry resources such as Microsoft Imagine Academy or CompTIA to offer certifications to students in a variety of IT disciplines.
- Assist in coordination of CTE Student Organization activities for local, regional, state and/or national competition
- Assist in development of and participate in activities designed to promote an innovative business and technology program
- Basic coding experience preferred in Java, Python, SQL, or block based coding (SNAP/Scratch).
- Basic experience preferred in fundamentals of IT troubleshooting, and PC hardware and software.
- Demonstrate effective classroom and computer lab management
- Demonstrates and teaches digital media in a classroom setting using Adobe software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and/or Premiere.
- Develop community and industry partnerships for students
- Participates in field trips to post-secondary institutes, worksites, businesses and hands-on workshops
- Plan, organize, and teach a competency-based CTE program in Business Education and Information Technology (IT) curriculums.
- Provides instruction and course/program management in the overall knowledge and application of video design, visual communication, publishing, and web development, allowing students to discover digital media concepts and skills by creating personally relevant, tangible, and shareable projects.
- Teaches knowledge and understanding of careers in Business, IT, Graphic Art and Web Design.
