WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE AND FORKLIFT DRIVER
K+S Services (a SunSource Company), the industry leader in repair and refurbishment of manufacturing equipment, is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate and Forklift Driver for their Rocky Hill, CT facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operations of our warehouse, including the receiving, sorting, and storing of goods, as well as loading and unloading shipments. As a Warehouse Associate and Forklift Driver, you will operate lift trucks to transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse. You will also need to ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and organized.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Operate fork truck to load/unload shipments and maintain the warehouse (certification training will be provided)
•Warehouse management
•Part preparation (painting)
•Receive and check in incoming shipments
•Unload and store materials in the designated areas
•Pack and label products for shipments
•Maintain a safe and clean work area
•Perform basic maintenance on the forklift and other machinery in shop
•Count and check inventory
•Coordinate processes to meet company measures
•Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues and answer questions
•Facility maintenance on building and grounds as required
•All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•High school graduate or equivalent
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods of time
•Ability to use a computer and basic office equipment
•Ability to accurately pick orders and package them for shipment
•Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions
•Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
•Knowledge of basic safety procedures
•Excellent organizational and communication skills
