Job Summary and Qualifications
The FSED Imaging Tech performs radiological and CT procedures as outlined by the Radiologist.
What you will do in this role:
- Operate diagnostic equipment, process images and prepare room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
- Ensure that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production of high quality scans, protocol adherence, critical thinking, excellent patient care, and obtaining clinically relevant history.
- This role will require a multi-modality clinical competency fulfilled by routine participation in the crossed trained modality.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician and/or CT experience is required
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) , State Registered Radiologic Technician required
- X-Ray experience is required
