Job Description: As a CT Technologist at multiple facilities in Atlanta, GA, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans on patients to produce detailed cross-sectional images of their internal organs and tissues. This 13-week contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in different healthcare settings and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to perform scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate image acquisition.
• Provide compassionate care to patients during CT procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Review and assess CT images for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any technical issues promptly.
• Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of patient information, imaging protocols, and procedure documentation.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in the interpretation of results.

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification: Hold a valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a CT Technologist.
• BLS Certification: Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, demonstrating proficiency in life-saving techniques and emergency medical procedures.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, demonstrating proficiency in performing CT scans and patient care.
