CT Tech| Rad Tech needed for Tennessee client - Up to $7500 sign on bonus with 2 year contract!!

• Ability to deal with patients, families and other hospital employees in a professional and caring manner
• Ability to handle high volume and high pressure busy hospital environment
• Siemens experience preferred
• Position patients, adjusted immobilization devices and properly used of radiation protection techniques during radiographic studies
• Prepared supplies and equipment for different exams, prepared the room to meet the needs of requested examinations and to meet specific physician requirements for procedures
• Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
• Dispensing oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assisting radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality, collating processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately labeling
• Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with some clerical functions
• Charging procedures and supplies used to the patient record
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
• Maintaining accurate patient records for all procedures performed, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to all HIPAA standards
• Comfortable doing 85+ exams daily

Requirements:

• 2 years of clinical experience in an ARRT accredited radiologic technology program
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• Associates degree - required
