Crypto Accountant Manager

Come work for a fast-paced Digital Asset Investment Company located in Weston, Florida.  The Company’s main business activity is investing in early stage Web3 projects.  These projects typically involve crypto token distributions. In addition, the company is actively trading tokens, staking, pooling, providing liquidity, farming, and trading NFTs,   We are looking to hire a skilled accountant to accurately report all financial data within the crypto space in a timely fashion.  The job will involve overseeing a staff of 4, with the responsibility of tracking multiple digital currency transactions over multiple block chains and exchanges within multiple entities.   The ultimate job is to accurately report all realized and unrealized capital gains and losses from sales/swaps.  Also correctly report all income and fees generated from the digital asset businesses in order to file accurate income tax returns.  You will work closely with an outside CPA team, the owners, the CFO and the crypto operators   The main task will be to upgrade and improve the current work flow, create new procedures and improve the overall communication between the accountants and the traders/investors.   We are looking for someone with leadership skills who can manage a dynamic team and bring the department to newer high levels.  Applicant must be able to read and understand various blockchain scans or reports. (ie Etherscan.io, solscan.io), experience working on complex digital asset transactions is a must.

The team that you will oversee is tasked with recording all transactions on all of the wallets owned by the group, this includes importing large volumes of transactions into the tax software in order to generate accurate reports. The goal would be to provide basic monthly financial reports to the owners for review and to complete and prepare all the year-end reporting to the outside CPA. • Managing a team
• Ability to read and understand blockchain transactions within multiply blockchains.
• Experience in the crypto space.
• Understanding general crypto tax rules.
• Ability to be trusted with sensitive information – this info is very private

Qualifications for Lead Crypto Accountant

• 5+ years of high level accounting experience (public or private)
• Strong knowledge of multiple financial software with an ability to quickly learn new ones. excel, importing data from CSV files, and good basic tech knowledge (Ability to use quickbooks or other accounting software is important.
• Problem-solving is a MUST
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy
• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time
