AddressKoch Minerals & Trading (KM&T) is looking to hire an experienced Crude Oil Trader to join the team!
What You Will Do
- Primary focus will be to manage a speculative trading book around North American Crude Oil.
- Drive the development of Mental Models that bring clarity to how the crude market functions
- Drive the creation and testing of robust strategies that generate edge over time
- Responsible for defining risk-management and decision-making tools/approaches to profitably execute these strategies
- Facilitate communication with analytics team and ensure there is proper challenge/debate around market understanding and trade strategies.
- Lead person in developing key commercial relationships and negotiating structures (commercial, asset-related, etc.) that create the options needed to actualize the team's POV/strategies
- Gather/synthesize market intel and developments and effectively communicate/integrate into the team's POV and knowledge systems
- Communicate the team's POV, strategies and results to key support organizations and related books within KS&T (Risk, Distribution, Mid-office, Leadership/Management Team
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Trader
- Knowledge and experience in physical and futures Crude Oil markets
