In our classic Mission experience, teams wearing hazmat suits go through a series of interactive game rooms, including a laser maze, before facing the World's Largest Paint Bomb! Our original Brooklyn location opened in 2018. We now have locations in Atlanta and Washington D.C. We've hosted over 300,000 players including hundreds of corporate team-building outings, school groups, and non-profit organizations. Beat The Bomb is one of the highest-rated experiences in all 3 markets. We offer a full range of special event services including STEM Camps, Kid and Adult Birthday parties, Corporate Tournaments, and Bachelorette parties. The Opportunity


This is an opportunity to join Beat The Bomb's lean and mean Marketing Team as a CRM Specialist. We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical CRM specialist with a consumer-centric mindset and proven experience turning data into actionable strategy. You'll serve as the champion of Beat The Bomb's marketing tech stack, responsible for managing the CRM system as well as building and maintaining Beat The Bomb's performance management platform with the goal of database growth, customer loyalty, and a single source of truth for customer data.


Responsibilities


  • Own Beat The Bomb's CRM system and performance management platforms with the goal of database growth, customer loyalty and retention, and a single source of truth for customer data.
  • Become an expert in our customers and industry. Understand our customer's preferences and needs at all stages of their customer journey with our brand. Analyze customer data to identify trends, behavior, and opportunities for improvement and growth. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend innovative CRM solutions.
  • Drive the strategy and planning of CRM-related communications including email flows, email campaigns, and SMS.
  • Build and manage flow logic, customer segments, and lists, and use automation to deliver relevant content and promotions to specific customer segments.
  • Write queries using SQL to pull data from the Beat The Bomb database for data analysis purposes, including building and maintaining performance management platforms like Databox.
  • Ability to access our partner APIs for analytic purposes
  • Build operational code leveraging partner APIs to bridge data gaps in various systems (can be done in any language of your choice but we are mostly a nodejs shop.)
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CRM system ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility. Actively and manage Klaviyo CDP, tracking, and support.
  • Develop and manage a rigorous A/B testing plan to optimize and improve customer engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Generate regular reports on key CRM metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Tech and Internal Operations team, as well as external agency partners, to integrate CRM with other business systems, ensuring a seamless flow of information toward building a powerful data ecosystem.
  • Support the Marketing Director and External Agencies by providing regular input on creative briefs and support the implementation of creative content for targeted and personalized email communications.
  • Provide training and support to team members on CRM processes and best practices.
  • Act as the core resource for resolving CRM-related issues and inquiries.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a CRM Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and start-up environment.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in SQL and/or other coding languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in relevant software. Experience using Klaviyo is preferred but not required.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is a plus.
