Join Our Team as a Crisis Clinician in the Scenic Town of Seward, Alaska!

We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Clinician to be a part of our dynamic mental health team in Seward, Alaska. This crucial role involves providing immediate support and intervention to individuals in crisis, making a significant difference in our community surrounded by majestic natural beauty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate assessment, intervention, and stabilization for individuals experiencing mental health crises.
  • Develop crisis plans and facilitate referrals to appropriate ongoing support services.
  • Collaborate with emergency services, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure a coordinated response.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical interactions.
  • Participate in community outreach and crisis prevention education.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Alaska. We offer supervision hours for unlicensed providers working towards Alaska licensure.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or similar fields.
  • Strong assessment, decision-making, and de-escalation skills.
  • Commitment to culturally sensitive and client-centered care.
