Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate assessment, intervention, and stabilization for individuals experiencing mental health crises.
- Develop crisis plans and facilitate referrals to appropriate ongoing support services.
- Collaborate with emergency services, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure a coordinated response.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical interactions.
- Participate in community outreach and crisis prevention education.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Alaska. We offer supervision hours for unlicensed providers working towards Alaska licensure.
- Experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or similar fields.
- Strong assessment, decision-making, and de-escalation skills.
- Commitment to culturally sensitive and client-centered care.
