SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, organizing, integrating, coordinating, and directing our new ERP platform's implementation and ongoing support and oversight. Provide oversight of IT team that will be focused on the rollout of a new enterprise ERP and the continuing adoption and support of the ERP. We are partnering with IT and executive leadership across the organization to ensure integration alignment and support the IT team in ensuring the successful delivery of the ERP.
The individual will lead a talented team of software solution providers and ensure the solutions provided adhere to company best practices. This individual will work closely with product owners, product managers, enterprise architects, security, and technical delivery teams to create and manage solutions architecture to advance strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project Leadership:
    • Led the end-to-end ERP system implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget , and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations and IT to gather requirements and define project scope.
    • Work with 3rd party implementation partners to align prioties and ensure the vendor meets expectations.
  • Team Management
    • Build and lead a high-performing implementation team, providing guidance and support to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
    • Align 3rd party vendor team members with a similar set of goals.
  • Technical Expertise
    • I possess a deep understanding of ERP systems, with expertise in Oracle Cloud implementation.
    • Oversee the technical configuration, customization, and integration of the ERP system with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Vendor Management
    • Interface with ERP vendors, managing relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of products and services
    • Work with 3rd party implantation vendors and manage relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the ERP.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential risks and issues related to the ERP implementation and develop the necessary mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor project progress, anticipate challenges and implement correct actions as needed.
    • Ensure continued agreement of both risks and mitigation to project sponsors.
  • Training and Change Management
    • Work across functional teams to help with the change management needed to support the ERP implementation.
    • Partner within IT to ensure the successful adoption and implementation of the ERP

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree or better in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Proven experience in 5+ years leading ERP implementations, with a focus on Oracle Cloud
  • Manage the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Ability to serve as a business partner
  • Ability to coordinate and partner with outside IT consulting companies
  • Able to work in an agile environment
  • Strong understanding of technologies used
  • Risk-taker with the ability to aggressively pursue new ideas while maintaining practices that support the best long-term interest of the company
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate the potential of systems technology to accomplish business objectives
  • Ability to learn quickly and gain the confidence of the organization
  • Proactive, hands-on, action-oriented leadership style
  • Interpersonal skills are required to work with others to identify problems and rapidly develop solutions
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills: Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project. Critical thinking skills to assess team decisions' feasibility, risks, benefits, and implications.
  • Creativity and innovation skills: Creativity skills to generate new ideas and solutions for the product. Able to think outside the box and challenge the status quo. Implement ideas and solutions to add value to the product and meet the customer needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Direct management of the Software Engineers
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Lead employees in creating a workplace environment aligned with our culture at Wheels and supports the Wheels Core Values.
  • Maintain transparent communication with your staff, appropriately communicating organizational information through regular staff meetings and one-on-one meetings.
  • Effectively manages timekeeping and payroll tools, conducts timely performance appraisals and assists all employees in meeting training and development goals, including any other management duties for all direct reports.
