Partner with children, teens, and their families to navigate long-term placement through therapeutic, trauma-informed care. Lead and manage a team of direct care professionals in addressing needs + managing milieu.
In this position, you will foster an environment of physical and emotional safety and partner with youth, families, and child welfare professionals to address trauma and build lasting supports.
Provide oversight and guidance of trauma-informed care and client safety
- establish positive, effective, and genuine therapeutic relationships with clients
- coordinate and direct staff activities that support client needs and wellbeing
- ensure an environment of care that provides physical and emotional safety, and meets individual needs
Collaborate to ensure the best outcomes for youth and families
- represent the agency and client interests with a variety of stakeholders
- establish effective working relationships with child welfare agencies, schools, and government officials
- collaborate with agency leaders to steward mission and strategically plan
- desire to promote the welfare , specifically children, teens, and families
- experience working with youth and families with mental/behavioral health needs
- strong oral and written communication skills
- ability to pass background and child abuse registry checks
- 21 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent
