Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
- Review incoming law enforcement reports to determine viability of filing criminal charges.
- Evaluate assigned cases for prosecutorial merit and possible plea negotiations.
- Research and write legal motions.
- File appropriate written motions when needed.
- Competently, expeditiously, and professionally handle all assigned court appearances.
- Prepare cases for trial.
- Assist other law enforcement agencies.
- Continually develop, maintain, and improve all skills necessary to perform daily prosecutorial duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate from accredited law school
- Admitted to and in good standing with Oklahoma Bar Association
- Experience is not required, but prior prosecution experience preferred.
