Job Description
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), located in Reno, Nevada, actively maintains a pool of qualified individuals to be selected from on an as needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs.
TMCC's Computer Technologies Department offers a variety of courses from office software skills to advanced networking. A qualified person can teach computer literacy classes, A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, or Web Development. We are beginning to branch out into Cyber Security as well.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
OR
A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution and extensive Criminal Justice experience or professional education like the FBI National Academy, National Executive Institution, or similar programs.
Salary Information: $952 per credit on standard credit courses.
Conditions of Employment
This is an on-going pool of qualified individuals interested in part-time, temporary non-tenure track instructional opportunities at Truckee Meadows Community College.
These opportunities are part-time only and will not be continued beyond the ending date. These opportunities may be terminated at will, at any time, for any reason, without notice; appointee has no appeal rights. Temporary assignments are not eligible for consideration for tenure as part of the assignment.
Employment is contingent upon a successful background examination.
