Job Summary:

• Carrying out all inventory duties allocated by the Crew Lead.
• Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
• Assisting Crew Lead with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposal.
• Safely uses tools and equipment such as, but not limited to chippers and chainsaws.
• Ensuring all work sites are kept clean and free of hazards.
• Inspecting equipment and tools and performing repairs and maintenance when required.
• Uses the appropriate gear and safety protocols.
• Reporting any issues or safety hazards to the Crew Lead.
• Adhering to company regulations at all times.
• Work will be done with respect for public and residential property job sites.

Physical Demands:

• Good physical strength, fitness, vision, and hearing.
• The ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop.
• The ability to handle heavy items, lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Drug free.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Additional duties can be assigned by Crew Lead as deemed necessary. We also do snow removal in the winter months so driving a plow truck of shoveling will be required. Work is not limited to one specific crew. Groundsman will be expected to effectively work with all tree crews and personnel. Duties have the potential to change with little to no notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• Weekends as needed
