Dickey was a true Texas character blessed with the gift of gab and the love of authentic, slow-smoked barbecue. In the beginning, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was truly a family operation with Travis working the block and Miss Ollie Dickey serving sandwiches. Space on the restaurant sign was rented out to help pay the start-up costs for the restaurant and the menu was limited to beef brisket, pit hams, barbecue beans, potato chips, beer, bottled milk and sodas.

*Job Responsibilities*

As a Team Member for Dickey’s BBQ, You are the host of the party. From welcoming our guest to helping them decide, you want to make them feel at home. We are honored to have our guest choose us, You should be too. They have plenty of options for good food in town and we want to thank them for choosing us. Every experience should be the best from start to finish.

• Cash Handling
• Taking orders on phone, and in person with a Smile
• Helping with guest as needed
• Stocking and cleaning as needed

*Job Requirements*

Dickey's BBQ Team Member is one of the most important positions you can hold. You are the Face(smile) of our company. We want you to love what you do and have the drive for high quality, and flavorful food.

• 1 years of Restaurant experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment (preferred but not required)
• Food handler certification is a bonus
• Work Clean, And Be Safe
