Position Description
Capital Bank is looking for a Credit Dispute Specialist to join our team. The Credit Dispute Specialist responds to Credit Disputes which are received through the e-Oscar portal or in written letters from the consumer.
Position Responsibilities
  • Investigate and respond to incoming written and indirect (e-Oscar) disputes according to department procedures and by department deadlines
  • Identify credit bureau reporting issues and report issues to management
  • Validate and update Bank reporting of consumer debt, in e-Oscar and FDR
  • Retain evidence of the Credit Dispute investigation, as required by FCRA
  • Work effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve operational goals
  • Meets productivity standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Time management skills
  • Attention to detail & accuracy
