Job Description Summary: What You Need to Know About This Role: The Credit Data Strategy Team is responsible for Global credit bureau reporting agencies (CRAs) contractual and regulatory compliance requirements as well as third party, inbound data providers. Meet Our Team: Team members are subject matter experts and primary points of contact across all global CRA-related activities. We are responsible for providing product requirement and platform approach to standardization and integration with bureaus, manage and optimize the data budget, provide analytics and reporting across data providers, and develop governance and controls for credit bureau reporting.

Your Ways to Impact:
Your team will be responsible for developing Credit Data reporting, driving revenue by identifying alternative data sources that provide value to the business, reducing data expenses, and partnering on data governance routines with Engineering, Credit Governance, and Global Analytics and Decision Science teams.
In your day-to-day role you will:
Develop standard reporting for outbound credit bureau and Operations monitoring
Perform analyses of potential new data sources to support the Global Merchant Lending, Global Pay Later, and Global Consumer Revolve portfolios
Lead Proof-of-Concept exercises with the Credit Risk Management team to find opportunities to reduce data costs and identify new data opportunities to enhance risk decisioning and drive profit
Investigate business & customer impacts and observe trends in both inbound and outbound data and make recommendations to the business based on observations
Support new product development and global expansion projects
What You Need to Bring:
We are looking to work with someone that has:
5+ years of experience working in a credit or credit supporting function and 2+ years of experience in relevant positions (e.g., Data or Decision Scientist, Data Analyst, Statistician, Risk Management, etc)
Analytical skills and is able to investigate data, identify trends and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions
The ability to approach problems in a quantitative and qualitative manner, and partner with the business to understand their needs, and drive solutions specifically around issues
Effective communication skills, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
A proven ability to interact with technical project leads, developers, quality assurance, and business team members
The capability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
