Credit Analyst Position Summary
Parkway Bank is looking for an experienced COMMERCIAL LOAN ANALYST that specializes in Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and Franchise with at least 2 years of analyzing loans in a banking environment. This is an onsite position; not hybrid or remote. This position will determine the creditworthiness of existing or prospective bank clients and analyze financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Must have at least 2 years' experience analyzing Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate loans for bank customers
- Assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective bank clients
- Examine and understand financial transactions and credit history of the applicant (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents etc)
- Complete ratio, trend and cash flows analysis and create projections
- Deliver a multidimensional perspective on the investment outlook in an accessible and informative manner
- Determine in depth the degree of risk involved
- Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports
- Routinely monitor loans for compliance
- Adhere to credit policy and guidelines
- Monitor corporate portfolio asset quality on an ongoing basis
- Draft models of credit information that predict trends and patterns
- Manage coordination of documents with outside counsel as appropriate
