About the role:
Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing window and in-store displays for both online and brick-and-mortar retail stores.
Visual merchandisers must combine their creativity and artistic flair with technical know-how to set up displays that maximize the space of the store while effectively catching the eye and appealing to the senses of their target customers.
Their main goals are:
(1) create and maintain an image for a department or store that resonates with their target customers,
(2) increase customer traffic in the store, and
(3) guide their customers' browsing through merchandise placement and store layout to result in an eventual sale.
Responsibilities will include:
Window Displays: Conceptualize and execute visually stunning window displays that captivate and engage customers while aligning with BR's brand image.
In-Store Merchandising: Assist in creating visually appealing merchandise displays that showcase the latest fashion trends, promotions, and seasonal collections.
Store Layout Planning: Collaborate with the team to optimize store layouts, ensuring an inviting and customer-friendly shopping environment.
Visual Merchandising Support: Contribute to the implementation of visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring consistency across all BR stores.
Creative Input: Offer creative input and ideas for marketing campaigns, promotional events, and visual presentations.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels for visual merchandising materials, props, and signage.
Communication: Liaise with store managers, corporate, and regional teams to ensure consistent execution of visual and creative strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong eye for design, color, and composition.
Knowledge of current fashion trends and retail industry best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to reliably commute between different BR stores.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
