We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled professional to fill the role of Creative Video Lead. This unique position requires a dynamic individual with a comprehensive skill set encompassing video editing, production management, and artistic direction. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning and engaging content while overseeing the entire creative process.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Video Editing:
    1. Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling and polished videos.
    2. Implement creative storytelling techniques to enhance narrative impact.
    3. Ensure high-quality audio and visual elements, maintaining brand consistency.
  2. Production Management:
    1. Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of video production, from pre-production to post-production.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
    3. Manage and optimize resources, including equipment, personnel, and budgets.
  3. Art Direction:
    1. Conceptualize and develop creative visual strategies for video projects.
    2. Provide artistic direction to achieve a cohesive and visually appealing aesthetic.
    3. Collaborate with graphic designers and other creatives to ensure a consistent brand image.
  4. Scriptwriting and Storyboarding:
    1. Contribute to the development of scripts and storyboards to guide the production process.
    2. Ensure alignment between visual elements and the overall narrative.
  5. Technical Proficiency:
    1. Stay updated on the latest video editing and production technologies and techniques.
    2. Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain a smooth workflow.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    1. Conduct thorough reviews of final products to guarantee the highest standards of quality.
    2. Seek and implement feedback to continuously improve the creative output.

Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience as a video editor, producer, and art director, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Technical proficiency in video and audio equipment and a keen eye for detail
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

Travel Requirements:

  • Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
  • Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.

Type/Nature of Contacts:

  • Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with managers and executives outside of the job’s immediate work unit/department.
  • External: Contact with members, partners, consumers, and associated talent required to meet video content needs.
