Overview

We are excited to announce the J.Jill Corporate focused Internship Program,  our summer 2024 internship which is a 10 week paid internship program running from June through August. This program is a full-time summer commitment. We are currently on a hybrid schedule, so students will be expected to work partially on-site and partially at home.

This program is designed to give rising juniors and seniors an opportunity to gain hands on insight and knowledge within a specialty Retail Company. Interns will participate in daily business activities in their assigned department while having the opportunity to learn about the company overall. Interns will also be able to learn from J. Jill's senior leaders.

We are looking to bring on a passionate Creative Video and Social MediaEditor Intern to support our in-house Creative team.  We are looking for an individual who is passionate about story telling with an interest in fashion to help create and edit social, brand and product videos to be used across J.Jill's digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review raw footage and create a highlight reel
• Concept and edit videos to be used on J.Jill's social platforms
• Work with Marketing and creative team to create content to support J.Jill Brand
• Work With Creative Team to develop new and fun ways to tell stories online that are consitent with the needs of our brand
• Help organize and manage video files

Qualifications

• Working toward a Degree in Business, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Team player; ability to develop and cultivate cross-functional relationships
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in Premier and After Effects
• Able to shoot videos on phone and edit
• Experience working for a brand with an interest in storytelling and creating brand right content
• An interest in the fashion industry a plus
