Role Overview:

As a Creative Technologist at WLab, you'll be pivotal in conceptualizing and executing avant-garde XR experiences, projection mapping, and Interactive Experiences. This role is a unique blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and project management. You'll ensure our projects leverage the latest technologies and deliver unparalleled, memorable experiences that resonate with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of XR experiences, projection mapping projects, and interactive installations from concept to completion.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, artists, and engineers, to bring creative visions to life.
• Research and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance our creative capabilities and project outcomes.
• Develop prototypes and conduct tests on innovative interaction models and experiences.
• Offer technical guidance and support to team members, promoting best practices in software development, hardware integration, and user experience design.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Documentation and Code Clarity: You must be able to write clear documentation and maintain readable code, as well as help manage our documentation repository. This ensures that knowledge is effectively shared within the team and that our projects are maintainable and scalable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in creative technology, interactive design, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, JavaScript, or Unity/Unreal Engine.
• Hands-on experience with XR development platforms (e.g., ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia) and projection mapping tools (e.g., MadMapper, Resolume).
• Demonstrated experience with tracking tools for hand and body tracking, essential for creating immersive and Interactive Experiences.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your work in XR, projection mapping, and/or interactive installations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative mindset.
• Proven project management skills, adept at managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Stellar communication and teamwork abilities, essential for our collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
