Creative Services Director

Salem Media Group in San Antonio, TX is looking for a Full Time Creative Services Director. This is a multi-purpose position including oversight of all audio & video production, station imaging, podcasts, show production, and voicework. This position will also include working live remote broadcasts, weekend shifts as needed, station events and other creative duties as assigned. This individual will also need to be able to lift at least 25lbs. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, passionate, and focused individual who wants to make an immediate impact on our team. They will be flexible, competent, listener driven and creative.

• Manage all aspects of the audio/video production department.
• Execution of copywriting and commercial production of spots, promos and station imaging within required deadlines and demographic considerations.
• Mix and provide sound design for both long and short format radio production.
• Assist with the execution of “non-air” digital elements including audio, video & graphics.
• Work with sales staff and operations staff for on-air and promotional production of sales promotions.
• Work with station/company voiceover talent to create and produce station imaging and promos.
• Perform on-air as a station personality either live or via voice tracking as needed.
• Work weekend shifts as needed.
• Appear at station events/remotes as a representative of the station as needed.
• Load and/or edit syndication content as needed.
• Manage the daily functioning of automation resulting in a consistent, tight, on-air product.
  

• Excellence in audio/video editing and production software packages including Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal).
• A positive and energetic style, with high integrity, strong work ethic, and ownership of outcomes.
• Be organized and able to create systems to accomplish an excellent final product.
• Knowledge of Wide Orbit Automation a plus.
• Knowlege of vCreative a plus.
• Previous experience in audio/video production or show producing a plus.
• Proficient in computer skills (Windows/PC, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
