In the DreamWorks Internship Program, interns work in an engaging and exciting environment alongside creative leaders and artists who are committed to building an inclusive and collaborative culture. Interns are immersed into TV and Feature animated productions while gaining hands-on experience at our studio. Summer 2024 Marketing Creative Internship:
- Applications close: March 8, 2024 at 11:59pm PT
- Program Dates: June 10, 2024 - August 16, 2024
- Time Commitment: Full-Time (40 hours per week required)
- Format: Hybrid, In Person
Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”
- Layout print looks for TV & film titles that would include key art, magazine ads, digital banners etc.
- Resize platform artwork for the various DreamWorks streaming partners
- Assist in developing social media creative assets and campaigns
- Tracking of print projects (google doc)
- Assist AV team on set during photo shoots
- Reviewing TV show episodes and pulling screenshots for use in creating print materials
- Comfortable interacting with other DreamWorks divisions for various cross-functional duties
- Confident venturing beyond traditional design tasks and adept at delving into conceptual and design work
Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”
- Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date) studying/have studied Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Film, Television or related majors.
- Graphic design experience
- Working Knowledge of various design programs: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
- Digitally savvy and connected with content streamers, social media platforms
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work in Glendale, California
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols
Desired Qualifications: “What can I offer?”
- Experience with Google Suite is a plus
- Have a curiosity about entertainment, publicity, marketing and media relations.
- Current class standing of Junior or above (or equivalent)
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
