This position is located in Seattle, WA and responsible for the Planetbox Brand as well as our newest brand that is set to launch in 2025. A Little About the Job

PlanetBox is a contagious brand with an engaged and passionate consumer base. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Creative Designer to help take our marketing content to the next level and well as set the visual foundation for our newest brand.

This role will be an integral part of the marketing team and will own all creative aspects of the brand, while providing overall creative support for the team. You will work closely with the brand manager, digital specialist, sales, and third-party vendors to establish a foundational framework for the brand's creative systems, including brand guidelines, templates, systems and processes for both print and digital.

Job responsibilities:

  • Effectively interpret briefs and respond with fresh, creative ideas and visual solutions for marketing campaigns
  • Work independently and deliver exceptional, data-driven creative across campaigns, promotional assets, and other digital content Translate marketing initiatives into effective, cross platform design strategies
  • Ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and adhere to established timelines and budgets
  • Lead and direct quarterly photo and video shoots, overseeing all stages from initial brief to completion
  • Develop artwork & dielines for new product packaging, with varying materials, shapes, and sizes
  • Draw and strategically build upon existing brand guidelines and standards
  • Document and implement new processes and methods where appropriate
  • Maintain color quality and review print proofs for accuracy and consistency

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as a graphic designer, visual designer or similar with experience in the direct-to-consumer product marketing environment
  • A diverse portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skill and relevant experience
  • A strong background in launching brand visuals is preferred
  • Extremely brand-focused and passionate about driving the brand mission forward through creative, balanced with the business and consumer priorities
  • Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • 3+ years developing marketing campaigns
  • 3+ years managing and art directing photo and video shoot
  • Experience developing packaging dielines and artwork
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, listening) problem solving, presentation and analytical skill
  • Fluent in basic design principles (typography, composition, scale, color theory, etc.) and a deep understanding of how they work together
  • Ability to effectively communicate and defend design decisions to leadership
  • Experience maintaining high quality creative in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of strategic marketing fundamentals and ability to deliver dynamic, solutions-driven content
  • Experience developing email marketing campaigns and leveraging data to drive creative strategy
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Pay: $75,000 - $80,000

Work Location: Seattle, WA/ Hybrid
