Address Our client is a global leader in technology seeking a Copy & Creative Governance Lead, for a 40 hours/week, 12-month assignment that will be onsite 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday, nonnegotiable) in Northern NJ (commutable by bus).

The Copy & Creative Governance Lead will:
- Develop and steward brand messaging and copy for assigned product division
- Oversee both consumer marketing copy (advertising) and messaging toolkit development (feature and product messaging) leveraged across paid media, CRM, organic social, .com, and channel/retail
- Work closely with creative agencies, product marketing and internal cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, quality and consistency of brand copy
- Crafting messaging and creative briefs for agency partners
- Contribute to the agency briefing process, internal creative reviews, copy and messaging development, and final execution of engaging copy for various marketing initiatives
- Serve as a gatekeeper for all brand advertising assets by working across integrated marketing teams to review, provide feedback and deliver a strong POV
The Copy & Creative Governance Lead must have:
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting or leading messaging strategy and copy for a brand, preferably client-side
- Proven track record of developing effective and engaging messaging strategy and copy for various marketing channels
- Strong understanding of brand management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism or related field
Bonus: Experience within technology or consumer electronics is a plus but not required.
