POSITION TITLE: Creative Arts Team Lead

REPORTS TO: Pastor of Ministries

ROLE SUMMARY: Hillside Fellowship believes that Jesus Changes Everything! Our mission is to make disciples who press on to maturity, rooted in the word of God and empowered by the Spirit of God. The Creative Arts Team Lead will advance Hillside's mission by leading our congregation in engaging and intentional worship. Additionally, the Creative Arts Team Lead will provide oversight to the areas of Music and Production and work to develop and implement a strategic plan for sustaining a vibrant and authentic culture of worship.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, arrange, and lead worship for weekend services and special events
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a weekly service plan and production meetings
  • Plan and lead rehearsals and other monthly team gatherings to promote community and development within worship and production
  • Provide direct leadership and managerial oversight to the Music Team
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the Production Lead
  • Oversee the operational components of the worship ministry and set annual/quarterly goals that align with the mission and vision of Hillside
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams
  • Plan and maintain the Creative Arts budget
  • Participate in regular meetings and additional training as required

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrates a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ and embodies the culture/values of Hillside (Galatians 5:22-23)
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the mission and vision of Hillside
  • A minimum of three years of experience in worship leadership is required
  • A strong musical background is required, a relevant degree is preferred.
  • Must be able to lead and effectively communicate in all group settings
  • Must possess proven experience in building and developing healthy teams
  • Must be highly detailed, possess excellent administrative skills, a strong work ethic, and a servant-leader's heart.
  • Ability to pass a background check is required
  • Must be a member of Hillside Fellowship or willing to pursue membership

SCHEDULE: Sat-Weds

HOURS: Full-Time

STATUS: Exempt
