Job Description
JOIN OUR TEAM! We are currently seeking full-time Creative Arts Therapist - (Art Therapist, Dance/Movement Therapist, Music Therapist, Drama Therapist, Recreation Therapist)
General responsibility to deliver and coordinate the delivery of Creative Arts and/or Wellness therapy to patients with addiction and mental health problems using their specialized mode of therapy. The Creative Arts Therapists (CAT) must be able to provide treatment appropriate for the chronological age and developmental functioning of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Treatment decisions are based on the interpretation of data provided by CAT and other relevant information to identify each patient’s requirements relative to client’s age specific needs within the scope of the unit’s policies and procedures.
Bachelor degree in the discipline is required (Art, Movement, Music, etc). Master's degree is preferred. Member in respective professional organization required. Registry and/or certification preferred. Bilingual/Bi-cultural and CPR Certification desirable. If a PIR, two years of sobriety is required.
