Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid Crane Operator certification, a strong focus on safety, and a proven track record of precision and reliability in crane operation.
Responsibilities:
· Safely and efficiently operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment according to project requirements.
· Perform pre-operational inspections of cranes to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or safety issues.
· Communicate with ground crew and other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safety during crane operations.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
· Assist with rigging and securing loads as needed and ensure that all rigging equipment is in good condition and properly used.
· Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and other company initiatives to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
· Valid Crane Operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent) with experience operating various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, or overhead cranes.
· Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in the construction industry.
· Strong understanding of crane operation principles, load charts, and rigging techniques.
· Commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
· Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
· Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and safety practices is a plus.
