GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for daily oversight of administrative responsibility for the Hospitalist and Neonatology service lines. The manager will have a visible presence and involvement with physicians and multiple hospital departments, including the Medical Staff Office, Community Providers, and Specialty Physicians. The position will report directly to the Senior Director of Clinic Operations. The employee will work closely with the service line Medical Directors to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of the programs and is responsible for administrative physician support, communications, and operational performance.

- Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- Advertises for vacancies within the program.
- Facilitates and tracks key onboarding activities for new providers and team members.
- Serves as a liaison between CPSST and the Medical Staff Office. Ensure credentialing and provider enrollment packets are complete and proactively follows up on missing documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between hospital departments and the hospitalist team. Provides information and resources as needed.
- Communicates to hospitalist team key announcements and maintains important team documents.
- Serve as a Central Office liaison for Provider Enrollment, Billing, Payroll and Compliance teams.
- Provides support for all active service lines within the site.
- Provides administrative support to Program Medical Director including special projects.
- Coordinates monthly and quarterly meetings, both within hospitalist team and with hospital partner leadership, including scheduling, agenda, room/material facilitation, and meeting minutes.
- Manages incoming phone calls, faxes, and mail.
- Identify and problem solve day-to-day site operation issues including matters related to payroll, credentialing, human resources, recruiting, etc. Drive internal staffing call with Medical Director, timely and appropriately follows up on scheduling issues and/or barriers.
- Assist Program Medical Director, Senior Director, and VP of Physician Groups with staffing optimization.
- Assist Program Medical Director create and coordinate coverage schedules and identify escalation of critical staffing gaps.
- Drive internal staffing call with the Medical Director, timely and appropriately follows up on scheduling issues and/or barriers.
- Ensures physician's shifts for payroll with 100% accuracy, including proper communication.
- The ability to speak, write, and listen clearly and consistently.
- The ability to create and nourish healthy, strong relationships among hospital partners, dyad/triad partners, and (C-Suite, CPSST Administrative Team, and Hospitalist Physician Group).
- Strong executive presence (managing the tone, reading/managing the room). Represents in a professional manner as the face of DCH and CPSST.
- The ability to pull people together into highly effective teams along with ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.
- Documentation of shifts worked and documentation of rates as appropriate.
- The ability to create and nourish healthy, strong relationships among hospital partners, dyad/triad partners, and (C-Suite, CPSST Administrative Team, and Hospitalist Physician Group).
- Strong executive presence (managing the tone, reading/managing the room). Represents in a professional manner as the face of DCH and CPSST.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree or Associates, willing to consider years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment in lieu of degrees.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively with all operational departments across the organization
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, and work as part of the team

- Ability to discern when issues need to be escalated to management and following the proper chain of command in doing so.
