CPFR Specialist

The CPFR Specialist will collaborate with the Customer Development team, and Customer Service and Logistics colleagues, to ensure strategic alignment and the flawless execution of stated plans to meet or exceed customer product delivery expectations. You will measure progress and improvement via customer critical metrics including PO Confirmation and Fill Rates, Timely performance, ASN accuracy, and Operational compliance metrics. Tis person will also coordinate activities with the Order To Invoice team in Mexico. This key player will be the acknowledged Supply Chain subject matter expert for Hill's NHP/Farm business.


What you will do

  • Serve as CS&L primary point of contact for the commercial team, providing insight into all customer and supply metrics
  • Assume leadership for any emerging CS&L activities
  • Learn and develop strong knowledge of the Customer processes and procedures, to allow for good reporting and analysis of customer trends (eg. Orders, Inventory, Consumption, Compliance charges, etc.)
  • Schedule and lead CS&L related meetings with the Customer Development team and Customer to help drive strategic alignment, and strong execution of strategy.
  • Collaborate with the CDO, Customer, and Demand Planning teams to ensure good awareness of upcoming promotions, other incremental activities.
  • Project lead for all Customer related system projects related to O2I, ASN, Compliance, etc.
  • Benchmark best in class processes across the industry and apply learning to improve customer relationships.
  • Attend Customer account visits and support preparation and alignment of metrics.
  • Support internal initiatives (eg. Departmental meetings, report development, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Follows all policies and standards


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field
  • At least 3 years in Customer Service / Logistics / Supply Chain experience with a strong understanding of operations
  • Excel, Google, and SAP proficiency
  • Demonstrated leadership skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of Supply Chain principles including forecasting, distribution, manufacturing, inventory management, replenishment, and transportation functions.
  • Proficiency with planning systems, Microsoft Office products, and Google Suite applications.
  • Demonstrated data management and organization skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage processes and projects.
  • Strong decision-making skills and sound Business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.


Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $88,800.00 - $131,250.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
