Full Service CPA firm seeks full-time experienced CPA or EA Tax Accountant.
To be considered applicants MUST have a minimum of 3 - 5 years public accounting experience in preparing corporate and individual returns. Knowledge of Ultra Tax a BIG plus. Applicants should have good communication skills. Must have strong time management skills and able to follow directions. Must be able to work independently and as a team. Basic Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare simple to complex tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Interview and communicate with clients to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and allowances.
- Check data input or verify totals on forms to detect errors in arithmetic, data entry, or procedure.
- Consult tax law handbooks or bulletins to determine procedures for preparation of atypical returns.
