Court Reporter

• Seeking experienced:
• Certified Stenographic Reporters
• Certified Realtime Reporters
• Digital Court Reporters
• Videographers

Candidates shall have a thorough knowledge of:

• the principles of court stenography
• through knowledge of punctuation, grammar, and spelling
• medical and legal terminology
• the ability to take dictation at the rate of a minimum of 225 words per minute
• type 50 words per minute
• apply verbatim reporting skills in the courtroom setting
• the ability to prepare in proper form all transcripts that are ordered
• maintain accurate files and records of work in progress, work completed, and other notes subject to later transcription
• RPR certificate is a plus
• AAERT certification is required within 12 months of the hire date

We offer full-time work and overflow work covering videoconferencing, depositions, remote depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, independent medical examinations, examinations under oath, statements on the record, transcription services, etc.

We are a full-service court reporting agency based in Fort Lauderdale.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $175.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
