Baby Trend is looking for a Country Sales Manager responsible for leading and managing all sales operations within Mexico. This role involves strategic planning and direct engagement with key accounts to achieve sales targets and enhance Baby Trend’s market presence. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, specifically in the region of Mexico, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market dynamics. The Country Sales Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients, connecting with key business executives and internal team members and act as liaison between key customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful placement and delivery of juvenile products. The candidate will also be required to manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategy as needed.
· Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
· Meet required internal sales and profit KPI objectives.
· Provide detailed reports on sales performance, revenue, and expenses to senior management. Use data to inform future sales strategies.
· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to our customer needs and objectives.
· Forecast and track key account metrics.
· Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
· Understand the juvenile industry relative to competition and evolving market trends.
· Possess an in-depth understanding of the Baby Trend product line relative to the competition and be able to effectively present to the client.
· Manage the sales budget and monitor expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
· Proven experience as a sales Manager. Experience in Mexico’s market is essential.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent time and project management skills.
· Understanding of website development, marketing, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing and internet technology.
· Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and help desk support software.
· Fluency in the local language and English is required.
