We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Shuttle Driver for our Country Park Shuttle. As a Shuttle Driver for Greensboro Parks and Recreation at Country Park, you will be required to assist with driving duties which include picking up and dropping off park patrons from several designated stops around the Country Park Loop Road, a private roadway inside Country Park. The Shuttle Driver is also responsible for recordkeeping, tracking attendance, providing customer service, and other administrative duties as assigned. The position requires the driver to help maintain the shuttle by inspecting, refueling, and cleaning the shuttle each shift. All applicants must have a good driving record and will be subject to a background test and drug screening as part of the hiring process. The selected applicant must possess great communication skills with staff and the general public to ensure the highest level of customer service. Physical requirements of the job include but are not limited to: walking, standing, and sitting for extended times, lifting up to 30lbs., and operating assigned equipment as needed.
This position is Non-exempt under the FLSA guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement
- Good Driving Record
- Customer Service experience
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
Current CPR / First Aid Certification
