Summary
Provide exceptional service to members in private club setting.
Typical Functions
- Perform pre- and post- work shift duties.
- Consistently follow all revenue control procedures.
- Advise supervisor of complaints as they occur.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
- Consistently comply with state, local and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol.
Specific Duties
- Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
- Distribute menus, if applicable. Be knowledgeable of daily specials & Soup of the day. Inform members and guests of these items.
- Learn and memorize member Last names
- Take and serve food & beverage orders.
- Check back to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Remove empty glasses, plates, and flatware; clean tables as needed.
- Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and/or charges on all bills.
- Present bills to members/guests.
- Handle all cash, credit card and member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
- Keep assigned tables, lounge and bus station and other areas clean.
- Be knowledgeable of current and upcoming events in the club
- Complete daily assigned side work.
- Other duties may be assigned.
