Job Description
The Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for daily activities and administration of the East Bay Supply counter. Ideal candidate would have some experience at a home improvement store, flooring dealer, contractor, or specialty hardware retailer. Must possess excellent sales and service support aptitude as well as solid computer skills and be a quick learner. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not a requirement.
Brief Position Description:
Assist with sales inquiries from customers in person, via email and over the phone.
Work with Purchasing to ensure that the Supply Center is properly stocked and maintained at all times, specifically targeting the top 100 AOH (always on hand) fastest moving SKU’s.
Target and establish new dealer and installer relationships while growing existing account business within the territory already established.
Work as a team with the outside Sales Representatives in servicing accounts within the territory.
Perform order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues.
Process credits and refunds in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
