Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is handled and stored safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining area
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to customers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about menu items
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
