Counter Help/Cashier

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Help. As a Counter Help, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their orders. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the food industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Upsell additional items or promotions to customers
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, and beverages
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with coworkers
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
