Count Team Member
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Count Room Supervisor, the Count Team Member is responsible for counting, sorting, and organizing all revenue pulled from the gaming floor.
Essential Functions and Tasks
- Totals all chip and cash totals by shift.
- Enters all chip and cash totals into computer.
- Prepares count documentation and verifies count accuracy for table games and transfers funds to the cashier.
- Prepare daily cash deposit(s) for accounting and banking purposes.
- Produce daily quota of washed and suited playing cards as required.
- Suit cards according to departmental procedures and verify all decks are clean and suited properly before restocking.
- Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a similar setting
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kern County Card Room Work Permit
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Ability to work in a small area with the same people for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to perform tasks with high efficiency and accuracy
- Must be able to sit and stand or walk for long periods of time (approximately 4 hours)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule/Hours:
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
