Counselor Aide - Port Neches Intermediate

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School graduate or certificate of high school equivalence (GED)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to work well with children

Ability to communicate effectively

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Assist with receiving incoming calls; take reliable messages and route to appropriate staff and faculty members.
• Assist with greeting visitors and respond to routine inquiries from the public.
• Assist with monitoring who enters and leaves the campus and sign-in visitors.
• Assist with covering front office during peak times of the school day.
• Assist with running copies for staff and maintaining copy room supplies.
• Assist with delivering items to classrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
