Job Description:
Looking to fill an Apparel and Accessories Costing Manager role as we build the Materials Costing function within Materials Sourcing & Manufacturing.

·        As an integral part of the Material Costing team, you will partner with functional subject matter experts to research industry commodity inputs, develop actionable should-cost models, and translate macro raw material trends into finished material cost expectations.

·        You will be responsible for monitoring global commodity markets, identify value engineering insights, and inform materials cost negotiations and planning strategies.

·        You will identify, develop, & lead high impact projects that will drive value for the enterprise.

·        You will help establish critical cost management processes and governance through key standardization and financial practices.

Experiences:

·        Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Masters in Engineering, Economics, or Analytics preferred

·        3+ years of product costing, cost engineering, or finance experience or 6+ years of sourcing, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain

·        Knowledge of apparel, accessories construction methods, material manufacturing, and costing preferred

·        Experience in value engineering in manufacturing preferred

·        Exposure to raw material commodity markets and cost modelling

·        Influences via data storytelling and comfortable transforming large sets of information into a compelling business case. Comfortability with excel required. Tableau or PowerBI expertise preferred, but not required.

·        Must be flexible, adaptable and resourceful and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity

·        Experience investigating, capturing and maintaining data in an information management system
